Restorying Food Security for All

  • Murdoch University 90 South Street Murdoch, WA, 6150 Australia (map)

You’re invited to a festival. Come and celebrate International Permaculture Day with PermacultureWest. The festival culminates in a community forum hosted by Anthony James, with special guests: Tan Fowler, PermacultureWest Convenor, and Nick Rose, Executive Director of Sustain: The Australian Food Network.

Hear about what food security looks like in urban communities and explore the role that permaculture plays, and could play in the future.

The broader festival will have activities for all ages with the centre piece being The Giant Plant Swap. Please bring any excess seeds, tubers, cuttings, seedlings or produce to share. Find yourself something you need for your garden, or kitchen. Bring a picnic to celebrate in the Peace garden.

Entry to the festival is by gold coin donation. The community forum has tickets available for just $10 each.
