What would Australia look like in 2030 if we simply listened to the needs of its people? Regenerating Australia is the latest film from Damon Gameau, the award-winning director of 2040 and That Sugar Film. Regenerating Australia launches in March 2022 with a national tour of ‘special event’ cinema and community screenings across Australia. This screening event at Sun Theatre in Yarraville will include a panel conversation hosted by Damon, with guests Anthony James and Dr Dominique Hess.
Dominique is Chair of the board of Greenfleet, regenerative development thinker, educator, author and researcher. Previously founding board member of the Living Futures Institute of Australia, with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education and building industries in the fields of sustainability, regenerative development, systems thinking, environmental issues, placemaking Industrial ecology, LCA, Eco-Design and project management. Degrees in science, engineering and a Phd in architecture. Author and editor of 6 books and over 100 papers and reports.
This special event screening will be a chance to connect with others face to face and feel some much needed hope and inspiration as we discuss the steps we could take together to regenerate Australia over the next eight years.
